Winery Review: Exellent aromas of creme de cassis, espresso beans, chocolate and menthol jump from the glass of this medium to full-bodied effort. Excellent purity as well as personality and a spicy, moderately long finish suggest it can be drunk over the next 2-3 years. 90. Robert Parker
My Review: Coffee, plum, and dark fruit aroma as well as a hint of spice. Bold tannins and dark fruit upfront. Melts into a nice long smooth finish with a bit of chocolate. Has a pretty high alcohol content at 14.5% which adds a little heat. Overall a pretty nice wine that would probably go really well with a nice steak.
